Philanthropy

Every year our brothers dedicate themselves to enhancing the lives of others through gifts of time, money, and service in support of many worthwhile causes. These acts of philanthropy create a foundation of personal growth that benefit our community and follow each of us throughout our lives.

Habitat for Humanity

During the fall semester we engage with the Prescott Area Habitat for Humanity to build and renovate decent, affordable homes that are sold interest-free and without profit.  The PAHH has built over fifty homes in partnership with volunteers and the low-income families who will ultimately own the house.  If you are interested in helping, either by becoming a volunteer or making a donation, we encourage you to contact the PAHH office.

MS Society of Arizona

Each spring we have a weekend-long adventure with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Arizona’s “Bike MS: Round Up Ride”.  This 150-mile bike race starts and ends in Florence, AZ, just about halfway between Phoenix and Tucson.  This is one of the longest-running philanthropic endeavors our chapter has supported since our chartering in 1991.  Every year we adopt and run a rest station along the bike route.  This is a unique chance to see all 1000+ riders from every corner of the country who come to Arizona to participate.

American Cancer Society

Since the Spring of 2004 we have been Climbing to Conquer Cancer.  This six-mile climb up South Mountain Park raises money and awareness to fight cancer.  All contributions are dedicated to life-saving research, education, advocacy and patient service programs.
